Job Description:

Overseeing a team of four professionals the VP will assume responsibility for all projects relating to the management of the credit portfolio.  Projects include, but are not limited to, Basel II Regulatory Framework, Economic Capital calculation, Regulatory and Statutory Reporting, and Portfolio Risk Analysis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partnering with CRM department head to optimize performance within the group.
• Maintaining full project management responsibilities for defining, planning and implementing CRM projects.
• Participating proactively in the development of the Basel II Framework, ensuring its full implementation at the Branch level.
• Ensuring adherence to Basel II project standards, processes, and procedures, managing all reporting responsibilities.
• Identifying, monitoring and reporting financial and non-financial metrics and benchmarks for the credit portfolio.
• Providing comprehensive portfolio risk review reports to management on an ongoing basis.
• Tracking and reporting on project deliverables.
• Identifying and resolving project problems.
• Monitoring internal controls and audit activity
• Supporting schedule development, incident management, document risk analyses, etc.
• Providing feedback directly to project team members on roles, responsibilities, expectations and performance.
• Escalating performance concerns as needed to management.
• Maintaining an effective staff to assist in carrying out these responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in financial services.
• Experience leading and participating in numerous projects varying in magnitude and duration.
• Knowledge of industry trends in Bank’s lines of business.
• Experience creating and communicating complex ideas and issues to large and small audiences of varied interests.
• Good understanding of project management concepts and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and good presentation and meeting management skills.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial and economic elements, management principles, business concepts.
• Successful track record completing multiple large projects.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
