One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Transmission Line Engineer. The global engineering giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors.  They are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation. 

Responsibilities include:  Develop and manage a team of transmission line engineers and designers.  Function as the manager on transmission line projects.  Prepare proposals and manage client relationships.  Assist in recruitment and prepare staff development plans.  Mentor and develop junior engineers.  Work with environmental engineers to prepare state applications for transmission lines.  Participate in public open houses and provide expert testimony to state commissions in support of permit applications.

Requirements

Extensive experience in the licnesing and engineering of high voltage transmission lines up to 500 kV.  Must be fully conversant with the PLS-CADD.  PE licnese required.  APplicant must be resourceful self-started able to work independently.  Must be capable of managing and motivating staff.  Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  Must have goos public presentation skills.
