One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Supervising Civil Engineer. The global engineering giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors. They are one of a handful of global companies with the capability and track record to execute large capital projects from conception right through to operation.
Responsibilities include: Perform and lead civil tasks related to new and retrofit fossil and nuclear power plant type plants. Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work. Create original designs, specifications, reports, and work with drafter / designers and supervising engineers. Review drawings, models, and submittals. Prepare and adhere to assigned budgets and schedules, integrate team efforts, review work, set priorities, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner and communicate status to other lead engineers, project management, clients, and execution offices. Willing to travel. |

Requirements |
Prefer 5 to 10 years experience in site development, permitting, civil, hydraulics. Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office. Other skills a plus: Microstation, Smart Plant Review, Inroads, PONDPACK, StormCAD, CULVERTMASTER, FLOWMASTER, MathCad, Lpile, KYPipe SURGE. BSCE required.
Execute work willingly, flawlessly, and successfully from multi-office global locations. Pro-active leadership ability to mentor other civil engineers plus direct and perform civil engineering work. Good verbal and written communication skills. Motivated to maintain PE license and author technical publications. Minimum 10 years overall engineering experience.
