Job Description:
Full-time ASP developer responsible for the creation and maintenance of all front-end code for all marketing initiatives working with a senior developer:
1) As spec'd new functionality for splash pages.
2) Upgrades and maintainence to all integrated home page components.
3) Ongoing support of maintence tools and processes as deemed necessary by the business owner.
The successful applicant has a strong work ethic is comfortable working as a member of a cooperative team that maintains a high volume, highly visible transactional system.
Additionally the applicant should have experience working on the implementation of requirement with business constituents and be able to be successful under tight deadlines on mission critical projects. This position will require the ability to juggle multiple requirements and activities simultaneously. As a junior position, the successful canidate must be capable of learning quickly from a senior developer and on their own from books. Responsibilities include: development and maintenance of ASP front-end code (60%), ssupport of other product teams in the implementation of upgrades and new feature (20%), documentation of implementation and deploy procedures (10%) and support of all business process including maintenance of administration tools (10%).
Minimum 2 years experience developing ASP applications interacting with VB COM objects, client-side and server javascript and experience working with SQL on an Oracle platform (ANSI SQL). Minimum 1 years experience developing JSP applications interacting with Java servlets. College degree in Computer Science. Experience with CSS is preferred. Demonstrated strong communication skills (internal & external to the group).Demonstrated strong teamwork skills and experience with VSS is a plus.
