SR. MANAGER, ENGINEERING: SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS & TESTING

Job Description:

 LEADERSHIP: Work with project manager and functional manager  to identify project objectives, work scope and priorities.  Provide input during the planning and scheduling of software requirement and verification tasks. Provide guidance and technical instruction to assigned staff members in the areas of expertise.  Review all work products for accuracy, completeness and consistency. Ensure compliance to all internal processes and regulatory guidelines.   

ENGINEERING DECISIONS:  Analyze customer business needs to fully understand intent, collaborate with internal and external customers  to facilitate communication among the stakeholders during the process of gathering requirements. Document the established business needs as Software Requirements. Analyze Software Requirements and Software Specifications to develop sound Software Verification and Validation Plans & Reports, Verification Test Specifications and Test Cases. Strong problem solving skills required. Expertise in the area of Automated Tools for Requirements and Testing.

EXPERIENCE: with software centric electromechanical systems is required. Working knowledge of Medical Laboratory Diagnostic Business domain is highly desirable. Knowledge of FDA software development process guidelines, especially those pertaining to software requirements and verification, validation is required. Experience with Automated Immunoassay is a plus.
