Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:       

Join a professional team of 15 software developers supporting the operations of a successful hedge fund business.  Work on new initiatives with direct business interaction. Project length and complexity can range from a few hours to several months. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work on projects focused on fixed income, currencies, option pricing and analytics, real-time pricing, transaction processing, risk and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
• A minimum of 5 years experience as a JAVA developer.
• Previous financial services experience required.
• Swing and/or other Java GUI-based development experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate autonomously.
• Previous experience with Transact-SQL
• Experience with FIX Protocol, Trade Entry and portfolio / P&L reporting strongly preferred.
• Proven record of job stability and commitment within jobs and projects.
