Job Description:

Prestigious, industry leading Financial Services giant is seeking bright, talented Finance or Accounting leaders with 3-7 years experience for their Financial Development Program. This is a proven, well-established rotational program which consists of three separate assignments each lasting approximately 18 months, and is specifically tailored for fast-track individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced enviornment and who will be groomed for senior management positions. The advantage to this program - unlike other training programs which are more limiting - is that candidates work with assigned mentors to craft a personalized training experience which leverages the strengths that have been acquired during prior professional work, as well as exposing the individual to new areas of competency. The program's goal is for the individual to leverage the abundant opportunities available and develop a broader skill-set which leads to a senior level position within a given business group upon program completion (e.g., Strategic Planning, Business/Economic Analysis, Financial Reporting, Unit Controllership etc). The position is based in Hartford, generally is designed to stay in Connecticut for the balance of the rotations (occasionally relocation for a rotation may be necessary), and requires minimal travel. This is an exceptional position for (but not limited to) a Big 4 Accountant or Consultant who may be looking to leverage her/his background into a more strategically oriented area on the corporate side with a prestigious company.

Otherwise, the ideal candidate profile includes 3 - 7 years Finance/Accounting experience in a prominent company. Candidates MUST be strategically oriented and have a demonstrated record of success and promotion/career progression. We seek top-tier, articulate candidates with a solid school degree in Finance/Accounting (or closely related); and you must possess either a CPA or MBA. Starting salary $65-$90K base (DOE)+ Bonus.
