Job Description:

One of the world’s largest engineering and project delivery firms, servicing the global resource, energy and infrastructure markets is currently seeking a Civil/Structural Substation Engineer. The global engineering giant provides engineering, procurement, construction management, program management and consultancy services to clients in the Hydrocarbons, Power, Minerals and Metals and Infrastructure sectors. Currently this organization is seeking a Senior Structural Substation Engineer.

Responsibilities include: Developing detailed design deliverables for switchyard, substation and power plant systems including, site plans, grading and drainage plans, foundations, structural steel, bus design calculations and control house design. Write construction specifications. Requirements: Applicant must be a degreed structural engineer with 10+ years experience. PE license is required. Staad III. Applicant must be a resourceful self-starter able to work both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision. Must have good written and oral communications skills a proactive attitude and be open to occasional travel or short-term out-of-town assignments.
